During the year, La Misión sees approximately 15,000 to 16,000 patients in our mobile medical clinics . Each patient is given the opportunity to be examined by a medical doctor and receive treatment for medical conditions. Patients then receive vitamins and other medication that are needed to treat the patient’s illness or condition. With the remote location of the villages with whom we work, there is very little or no access to medical care. However, by the grace of God, He has given La Misión, along with volunteer short term mission teams from churches and organizations in the United States, the opportunnity to travel with these mobile medical clinics into the remote areas of Guatemala and show God’s love and provided medical care to those who may otherwise never receive it.
