Optical

Annually, we are able to serve 3,000 to 4,000 patients in La Misión’s mobile optical clinic in the remote villages throughout Guatemala. This is made possible by generous donations of optical equipment that allow patient’s to receive an eye exam, and then a set of glasses. With our optical clinics we have been able to experience the joy on a person’s face as the gift of sight has been returned and once again become productive in their families and communities and provide for their needs. Seeing this confidence and light return, the La Misión team is able to show the love of God to each patient in the mobile optical clinic and send that person out into their community to share God’s light with each of them as well. It is amazing how the gift of sight allows others to “see” how God provides for His children.
