How this started?

La Mision has a goal to create self sustainable projects in the communities of Guatemala because we believe it is the key to empowering the communities to work for their development.

While providing medical careto the same communities over several years, we have seen a specific problem, intesnital parasites. We have seenfamilies go through cycles of instestinal parasites that they could not stop. The source of this problem is the water they are consumingin their homes. Unclean water containing parasites often results in death.
