It gave us great joy to meet Mrs. Ofelia Esperanza Reyes Mancilla who is currently 48 years old, a little more than 4 years ago the doctors of the hospital of Puerto Barrios detected her breast cancer, she told us her testimony, we shared the word of God and prayed for her life, after 3 years of not visiting the village of Santa Maria del Mar, we found ourselves new with Doña Ophelia, whom we supplied with various medicines and food after finishing praying for her, she thankfully said these words: “Thank you for teaching me to pray, prayer keeps me standing, now I can live happily and in peace”, stories like these fill our hearts with joy and remind us that we have been called to serve our neighbor.
