After 2 years of the pandemic, not being able to make medical trips had consequences for the communities, these communities went back about 10 years in health, and we found children with acute and chronic malnutrition and many people with different diseases.
Our goal is to ensure the health and care of the people in the different villages and one of the ways to do this is through a healthy diet and healthy environment. That’s why we continue with the project of installing eco-friendly stoves in houses in Sarita village because the people usually cook on a traditional stove with a lot of wood, these traditional stoves are really bad for the families, but especially for the children because all the smoke of the wood stays inside the house and all the family members breathe that smoke, bringing on different respiratory diseases for them.
We are happy because, after a long time, we were able to return and enter the homes of these families, also we take time to pray for families and share the word of God with them, the very excited ladies commented that now they can cook in a clean and pleasant environment for their families.
